As well as getting a new board of my own, I got some new shoes of my own. As you may recall, I’ve been skating Chevi’s old iPoth’s, which I love, but which are also showing their wear. The shoestring of the left shoe is broken and doesn’t lace all the way up anymore. They also have a particular smell emanating from them…. Anyways, I was at Kohl’s and found a pair of Tony Hawk skate shoes on clearance for $10. Score. These are at least $40 shoes, black grey and (my favorite color) purple.
